UpdateTweenText

Family: Tweening · One form

What it does

UpdateTweenText writes to a Tweening object: it updates rather than reads. It takes tweenID (an integer), textID (an integer) and fTime (a float), and returns nothing. tweenID is the id of a Tween object, obtained elsewhere in the Tweening family.

Syntax

UpdateTweenText(tweenID integer, textID integer, fTime float)

Parameters

NameType
tweenIDinteger

fTimefloat

Every form returns

tween = CreateTweenText(1.0)text = CreateText("hello")UpdateTweenText(tween, text, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateTweenText and CreateText are there to give the call something to act on; UpdateTweenText is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
