PlayTweenChar

Family: Tweening · One form

What it does

PlayTweenChar makes something happen at once: it plays. It takes tweenID (an integer), textID (an integer), charID (an integer) and delay (a float), and returns nothing. tweenID is the id of a Tween object, obtained elsewhere in the Tweening family.

Syntax

PlayTweenChar(tweenID integer, textID integer, charID integer, delay float)

tween = CreateTweenChar(1.0)text = CreateTweenText(1.0)PlayTweenChar(tween, text, 1, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateTweenChar and CreateTweenText are there to give the call something to act on; PlayTweenChar is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
