ObjectMeshCollision

Family: 3D · One form

What it does

ObjectMeshCollision writes to a 3D object: it sets rather than reads. It takes objectID (an integer), meshIndex (an integer) and mode (an integer), and returns nothing. objectID is the id of a 3D object, the one LoadObject returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

ObjectMeshCollision(objectID integer, meshIndex integer, mode integer)

Parameters

NameType
objectIDinteger
meshIndexinteger
modeinteger

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

object = LoadObject("assets/media.obj")mesh = CreateObjectFromObjectMesh(1, 1)ObjectMeshCollision(object, mesh, 1)DO  Sync()LOOP

LoadObject and CreateObjectFromObjectMesh are there to give the call something to act on; ObjectMeshCollision is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
