PlayObjectAnimation

Family: 3D · One form

What it does

PlayObjectAnimation makes something happen at once: it plays. It takes objectID (an integer), animationName (a string), startTime (a float), endTime (a float), loop (an integer) and tweenTime (a float), and returns nothing. objectID is the id of a 3D object, the one LoadObject returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

PlayObjectAnimation(objectID integer, animationName string, startTime float, endTime float, loop integer, tweenTime float)

Parameters

NameType
objectIDinteger

Example · generated

object = LoadObject("assets/media.obj")PlayObjectAnimation(object, "player", 1.0, 1.0, 1, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

LoadObject is there to give the call something to act on; PlayObjectAnimation is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
