ObjectAnimationFrame

Family: 3D · One form

What it does

ObjectAnimationFrame writes to a 3D object: it sets rather than reads. It takes objectID (an integer), animationName (a string), time (a float) and tweenTime (a float), and returns nothing. objectID is the id of a 3D object, the one LoadObject returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

ObjectAnimationFrame(objectID integer, animationName string, time float, tweenTime float)

Parameters

NameType
objectIDinteger
animationNamestring
timefloat
tweenTimefloat

Every form returns

nothing

object = LoadObject("assets/media.obj")ObjectAnimationFrame(object, "player", 1.0, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

LoadObject is there to give the call something to act on; ObjectAnimationFrame is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
