TextCharBold

Family: Text · One form

What it does

TextCharBold sets CharBold on a Text object. It takes iTextIndex (an integer), iCharIndex (an integer) and bold (an integer), and returns nothing. iTextIndex is the id of a Text object, the one CreateText returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

TextCharBold(iTextIndex integer, iCharIndex integer, bold integer)

Parameters

NameType
iTextIndexinteger
iCharIndexinteger
boldinteger

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

text = CreateText("hello")char = CreateTweenChar(1.0)TextCharBold(text, char, 1)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateText and CreateTweenChar are there to give the call something to act on; TextCharBold is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
