ObjectShader

Family: 3D · One form

What it does

ObjectShader writes to a 3D object: it sets rather than reads. It takes objectID (an integer) and shaderID (an integer), and returns nothing. objectID is the id of a 3D object, the one LoadObject returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

ObjectShader(objectID integer, shaderID integer)

Parameters

NameType
objectIDinteger
shaderIDinteger

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

object = LoadObject("assets/media.obj")shader = LoadShader("assets/data.dat", "assets/data.dat")ObjectShader(object, shader)DO  Sync()LOOP

LoadObject and LoadShader are there to give the call something to act on; ObjectShader is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
