UpdateTweenObject

Family: Tweening · One form

What it does

UpdateTweenObject writes to a Tweening object: it updates rather than reads. It takes tweenID (an integer), objectID (an integer) and fTime (a float), and returns nothing. tweenID is the id of a Tween object, obtained elsewhere in the Tweening family.

Syntax

UpdateTweenObject(tweenID integer, objectID integer, fTime float)

Parameters

NameType
tweenIDinteger
objectIDinteger
fTimefloat

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

tween = CreateTweenObject(1.0)object = LoadObject("assets/media.obj")UpdateTweenObject(tween, object, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateTweenObject and LoadObject are there to give the call something to act on; UpdateTweenObject is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
