AddObjectMeshFromMemblock

Family: Memblock · One form

What it does

AddObjectMeshFromMemblock writes to a Memblock object: it adds rather than reads. It takes objID (an integer) and memID (an integer), and returns nothing. objID is the id of a 3D object, obtained elsewhere in the Memblock family.

Syntax

AddObjectMeshFromMemblock(objID integer, memID integer)

Parameters

NameType
objIDinteger
memIDinteger

Every form returns

nothing

object = CreateObjectFromHeightMap("assets/media.obj", 64.0, 64.0, 1.0, 1, 1)memblock = CreateMemblockFromFile("assets/data.dat")AddObjectMeshFromMemblock(object, memblock)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateObjectFromHeightMap and CreateMemblockFromFile are there to give the call something to act on; AddObjectMeshFromMemblock is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
