TextScissorSet

Family: Text · One form

What it does

TextScissorSet takes textID (an integer), x (a float), y (a float), x2 (a float) and y2 (a float), and returns nothing. textID is the id of a Text object, the one CreateText returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Example · generated

text = CreateText("hello")TextScissorSet(text, 100.0, 120.0, 1.0, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateText is there to give the call something to act on; TextScissorSet is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
