PlayMusicOgg

Family: Music · 2 forms

What it does

PlayMusicOgg plays OGG on a Music object. It takes musicID (an integer), and returns nothing. That is the first of 2 forms. musicID is the id of a Music object, the one LoadMusic returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

1
PlayMusicOgg(musicID integer)
2
PlayMusicOgg(musicID integer, loop integer)

Parameters

NameTypeIn forms
musicIDintegerall
loopinteger2

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

Form 1, the short one

music = LoadMusic("assets/track.ogg")PlayMusicOgg(music)DO  Sync()LOOP

Form 2, with every argument

music = LoadMusic("assets/track.ogg")PlayMusicOgg(music, 1)DO  Sync()LOOP

LoadMusic is there to give the call something to act on; PlayMusicOgg is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
