JointReactionForceX

Family: 2DPhysics · One form

What it does

JointReactionForceX reads from a 2DPhysics object without changing it. It takes jointID (an integer), and answers a float. jointID is the id of a Joint object, obtained elsewhere in the 2DPhysics family.

Syntax

JointReactionForceX(jointID integer) → float

Parameters

NameType
jointIDinteger

Every form returns

Example · generated

joint = CreateWeldJoint(1, 1, 100.0, 120.0, 1)DO  Print(JointReactionForceX(joint))  Sync()LOOP

CreateWeldJoint is there to give the call something to act on; JointReactionForceX is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
