TextShader

Family: Text · One form

What it does

TextShader sets Shader on a Text object. It takes iTextIndex (an integer) and shaderID (an integer), and returns nothing. iTextIndex is the id of a Text object, the one CreateText returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

TextShader(iTextIndex integer, shaderID integer)

Parameters

NameType
iTextIndexinteger
shaderIDinteger

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

text = CreateText("hello")shader = LoadShader("assets/data.dat", "assets/data.dat")TextShader(text, shader)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateText and LoadShader are there to give the call something to act on; TextShader is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
