TextFontImage

Family: Text · One form

What it does

TextFontImage sets FontImage on a Text object. It takes iTextIndex (an integer) and iImageID (an integer), and returns nothing. iTextIndex is the id of a Text object, the one CreateText returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Syntax

TextFontImage(iTextIndex integer, iImageID integer)

Parameters

NameType
iTextIndexinteger
iImageIDinteger

Every form returns

nothing

Example · generated

text = CreateText("hello")image = LoadImage("assets/sprite.png", 1)TextFontImage(text, image)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateText and LoadImage are there to give the call something to act on; TextFontImage is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
