TextShaderArray

Family: Text · One form

What it does

TextShaderArray sets ShaderConstantArrayByName on a Text object. It takes iTextIndex (an integer), szName (a string), arrayIndex (an integer), value1 (a float), value2 (a float), value3 (a float) and value4 (a float), and returns nothing. iTextIndex is the id of a Text object, the one CreateText returned: it is how the call knows what to act on.

Example · generated

text = CreateText("hello")TextShaderArray(text, "player", 1, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0)DO  Sync()LOOP

CreateText is there to give the call something to act on; TextShaderArray is the line that matters. The DO … LOOP is not decoration: a classic BASIC program ends the moment it runs out of lines, and Sync() is what draws the frame.
